REIDVANN is an Authorized Distributor for the Lidatek LaserECHO, the world's only traffic laser defense system. The Lidatek LE-30 is a tool to help drivers protect themselves from laser speed enforcement. The system consists of the Lidatek interface box, up to three laser transponders, an alarm LED and speaker, an arming switch, a wiring harness, and all necessary fasteners and connectors.
A Lidatek LE-30 with a single transponder is designed to protect most small to mid-sized vehicles. Larger vehicles, or people who desire a higher level of protection, may use two front-mounted transponders. For the ultimate in protection, a rear transponder can be added to any Lidatek system.
When a laser from a speed measuring device is aimed at the vehicle, the Laser ECHO LE-30 "echoes" the signal for 5 seconds and then shuts off and recycles for 30 seconds. The speed measuring device will show an error when the LE-30 is working properly. This 5 seconds allows a driver to correct their speed before getting a ticket. Our purpose is not to encourage speeding, but to allow people who are following the flow of traffic or who have drifted above the speed limit to adjust to the proper speed before being fined.
